Terra Firma Homes was started by three friends — all born and raised in southern Ohio, all with roots in agriculture. We grew up understanding what a rural home really means: it isn’t just a house, it’s where a family plants itself and grows.
Over the years we watched good people get priced out of a quality home, or handed something a big builder had quietly cut corners on. We knew it could be done better. So we set out to build honest, affordable homes — the kind we’d want for our own families — without sacrificing the craftsmanship a large corporation trims away to protect its margins.
We’re small on purpose. It means we actually know the people we build for, we’re on-site and easy to reach, and we care how your home turns out long after we hand you the keys.
